This amp is based on Annie. It has the gain after the first stage. The tone stack is placed right before the power section, allowing you to shape the distorted signal. The second gain stage is biased so that it clips earlier than the typical Annie model. The power section can use either a 12au7 or 12at7 (shipped with a 12at7) and requires an 8 or 16 ohm load.
This amp is excellent for humbuckers. Single coils tend to sound a little thin.
