Pendulum is the transistor equivalent of a Brownface era harmonic vibrato circuit. There is a bit of phasing along with a bit of amplitude modulation (tremolo). The signal path is short and uncluttered. The low frequency oscillator is musical and effective due to its shape and amplitude. The intensity of the effect goes from none at all (you can use it as a tone shaping boost) to very choppy. The balance control allows you to make the phasing lean towards the low end or high end frequencies. There is also a volume control so that you can match, attenuate, or boost the signal entering the Pendulum.
